A small dog named Flint was in a very dangerous situation when a kind person rescued him. Thankfully, the lost pitbull was saved just in time and found a forever home with his hero.
His new family shared the story of how they saved Flint and how he became a beloved member of their family:
One day, my fiancé saw this poor, unconscious dog in the middle of the road, almost getting hit by cars. She couldn’t ignore him and managed to get his attention right before another driver almost hit him.
She couldn’t let him die, and we believe he would have if we hadn’t decided to help.
Although we’re not activists who rescue animals every day, in a situation like this, we couldn’t refuse to help.
Thanks to the kindness of this couple, the dog’s destiny changed forever, and he now enjoys the quality of life he deserves after all he has suffered.
They felt so much compassion for him that they brought him home, which was luckily nearby. They discovered that Flint was covered in fleas, so they gave him three baths with flea shampoo to get rid of them. He was also hungry, so they bought him a large can of dog food and fed him.
Despite the horrors he endured on the streets, Flint showed a noble spirit.
They took him to the vet for a thorough examination and received prescriptions for medications to treat his various ailments.
He had heartworms and a couple of other types of worms, but fortunately, they were treatable. With medications, injections, and treatments, Flint started gaining weight and improving significantly from his heartworm disease.
But the battle wasn’t over. The puppy would continue his treatment until he reached his ideal weight and gradually overcame the disease that threatened his life.
After facing many challenges, he finally received the love he needed and always deserved.
Not only does he have a loving family, but he also has an adorable dog brother.
Free from heartworms and illnesses, Flint’s shiny fur has fully grown, and he has become the cuddliest little dog you’ll ever see.
Flint is a wonderful and lucky dog, and it’s evident that his new family loves him very much. It’s amazing what can happen when you take a few minutes to help an animal in need. It’s definitely worth it to assist these vulnerable creatures who suffer from abandonment and helplessness.
